THE TOP TEN CISTERCIAN ABBEYS
If Team Paradox had to organize a tour of the top ten Cistercian Abbeys in these lists, these would be the choices. On the "first reserves list", Poblet is quite close to Santes Creus, Fountains is in the same neck of Yorkshire as Rievaulx, and Pavia (which is really Carthusian) is within one hour or so of Chiaravalle della Colomba. In addition do not forget that Casamari and Chiaravalle della Colomba both have infioratas where the entire nave is mosaiced with flowers, blooms and greenery on Corpus Domini each year.
