Inside the (now deconsecrated) church there are some stunningly beautiful and well kept "artefacts" including a paschal candelabrum (above left) and a massive pulpit dating from the 11 hundreds (below).

The relics of San Clemente lie beside the ciborium (above) in a marble casket (below right), heavily protected by armoured glass and security devices.
