Chartres West Lancet Windows: Passion - Incarnation - Jesse
|
|
The Passion Window is the leftmost of the three lancet windows under the rose at the west end of Chartres Cathedral. The three windows, made, along with the Blue Virgin window, in the 1100s, are the oldest in the cathedral, and the only survivors from the catastrophic fire of 1194.
