León Cathedral is second only to Chartres Cathedral in the medieval stained glass window stakes, including three magnificent rose windows. These Edilesa books are also simply the best of their genre - on the left a 1200s bishop blessing (the cathedral?), on the right King Alfonso X (The Wise) ( 1221 - 1252 - 1284 (63)) one of the instigators of León Cathedral. |
