The Church (ex-Sinagogue) of Santa Maria la Blanca in Toledo is based on a Synagogue, probably the most important in Toledo, dating from the 1100s but suffering a major fire and rebuild in the later 1200s. Nothing more definite is known about its provenance, but whatever this is the space that exists today is a must experience.
